I believe in providing a supportive and engaging learning environment with high expectations and professionalism to nursing and nursing assistant students. By providing this type of environment, the students will be successful in the new profession with a caring attitude and competency in meeting the standards of care. My joy is when I witness a student having the “aha” moment. This moment always reminds me why I decided to become a nurse educator to share my knowledge and experience as a nurse with my students.
